more capability that relieves the bottleneck that has hindered the translation of novel diagnostics into clinical use. She hopes to apply this technology to characterize human phenotypic variation and to relate this variation to clinically relevant endpoints. Other projects in her laboratory focus on cancer biology, with a specific emphasis on using model systems and integrative ‘omics’ to predict biomarkers of human disease, especially targeting the DNA damage response.
