Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Physician-Scientist Faculty: Lerner Research Institute

The Lerner Research Institute at the Cleveland Clinic, in collaboration with the nationally ranked Pediatric Institute and The Rose Ella Burkhardt Brain Tumor and Neuro-Oncology Center, invites applications for Faculty in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. We are seeking applicants for a full time position at all academic levels who have expertise in clinical, translational, and laboratory-based pediatric neuro-oncology.

We are recruiting a faculty member to drive productive and innovative laboratory research program in pediatric neuro-oncology as well to contribute to the clinical pediatric neuro-oncology program. The primary research appointment will be in the Center for Immunotherapy and Precision Immuno-Oncology (CITI) of the Cleveland Clinic Health System and the Pediatric Institute. CITI focuses on research in immuno-oncology, precision oncology, autoimmunity, and development of new therapeutics for a broad array of human diseases. In addition, CITI has specialized resources outside of traditional scientific cores including an immune monitoring laboratory, discovery laboratory, and computational biology assistance. Responsibilities include developing an independent laboratory research program and participation in the clinical pediatric neuro-oncology program. The candidate should hold an MD or MD/PhD. Along with interactions in CITI, there are opportunities for interactions with investigators in the Lerner Research Institute (including the Department of Cancer Biology), Taussig Cancer Institute, and members of the NCI-designated Case Comprehensive Cancer Center at various institutions in Cleveland. There are also translational opportunities through various cores, clinical teams, and the National Center for Regenerative Medicine.
