Dr. Khabele Professor and Chair of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Khabele is one of a few clinically active gynecologic oncologists who also leads an ovarian cancer translational research program. Dr. Khabele’s scientific and scholarly work advances not only the field of gynecologic oncology, but also the fields of women’s health, cancer epigenetics and cancer research. Dr. Khabele serves on multiple medical and scientific advisory boards, including the National Institutes of Health, the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, the Foundation for Women’s Cancer, and Ovarcome. She is firmly committed to mentoring and training the next generation of physicians and scientists. As an advocate, she is dedicated to raising awareness about women’s cancers and cancer health disparities.
