Elected 2015

Dr. William Fearon is Professor of Medicine and Director of Interventional Cardiology at Stanford University.  His research focuses on the invasive assessment of coronary artery physiology. In particular, he has studied the role of using a coronary pressure wire to measure the fractional flow reserve and the index of microcirculatory resistance in order to guide coronary revascularization in a variety of patient populations, to investigate the status of the coronary microvasculature, and to better understand the etiology and impact of microvascular dysfunction.
